It’s really unfortunate but you can’t save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over.”

Lea, whose eyes were hidden by dark sunglasses, looked solemn and appeared to be wearing a silver necklace spelling out Cory’s name, which she has been spotted wearing in the past. This is so heartbreaking. Lea must miss Cory desperately.

Jen might be trying to settle the score with Brad in this interview, but she does sound like she’s moved on and is genuinely happy.

“You can undo a lot of things. If you’re not happy, you can become happy,” she said. “Happiness is a choice. That’s the thing I really feel. Like with friends who refuse to get happy, who refuse to rise above the discomfort of where they’re at.”

Sadly, Forbes doesn’t believe K-Stew will land on next year’s list. A sequel to SWATH is a long way off and the actress doesn’t seem too interested in doing more big-budget movies, according to the magazine.

Emma Roberts Arrested For Domestic Violence Against Evan Peters

Emma Roberts arrested for allegedly beating up her longtime boyfriend Evan Peters.

TMZ reports that Roberts who is 22 years old was taken into custody on July 7th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, after an altercation with Peters, who currently stars in "American Horror Story." According to authorities, the police were called to the scene after hearing a fight break out in the couple's hotel room. Upon arrival, Evan Peters had a bloody nose. An unnamed source close to the couple told TMZ that both Emma and Evan were hitting each other and she was arrested because he had obvious physical injuries. At this point however, it is very important to note that the motive for this fight and the details are all purely speculation. Representatives for the actors have not commented on the incident. No charges were filed. However, in the past, the couple has been very loving in public, and many sources assert that they are still in fact together. The day following the supposed incident, Emma Roberts was back to twitter with a photo that featured a caption that read "Sister time #Hamptons."

Cory, 31, died from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol, Canadian authorities tell TMZ. The British Columbia Coroners Service says an autopsy and toxicological analysis show the actor died on from a “mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.”

The Vancouver police staged a press conference, and Cst. Brian Montague said the following:

This was an overdose and a tragic accident..

The police investigation has now been concluded, unless new evidence is received.

He was alone at the time of his death. There were three people with him [earlier that night], we spoke with them all and they were co-operative. It is not relevant to a police investigation.

There was no evidence to suggest anything out of the ordinary. There was no sign of a struggle or a robbery. Evidence was consistent with a drug overdose. Foul play was not involved.

He was last seen after two in the morning, and he was found at noon. We believe he was dead for several hours before he was found.

This is truly devastating news. It had been reported that alcohol and drugs were found in the hotel room he died in.

While he hadn’t filmed any new scenes for the upcoming fifth season of Glee before his untimely death, Cory Monteith had completed his final film McCanick, giving fans one last chance to see Cory doing what he loved most: act.

In his upcoming final film, Cory plays Simon Weeks, a drug-addicted street hustler who has Eugene “Mack” McCanick (David Morse), a detective, following his tracks. This role is quite the opposite from his gentle, big-brother character Finn on Glee.

The clip shows McCanick talking to Cory’s character Simon, who is looking rough with disheveled long hair and a hoodie, about his ongoing investigation. McCanick feels sorry for Simon and offers to buy him breakfast.

Josh C. Waller, the director of McCanick, talked to Yahoo! Movies about Cory in his last acting role.

In my mind, I was envisioning a teeny little drug guy [for Weeks], but Cory Monteith is this tall, strapping man. But when I met with him, he wanted to do it so badly. He was very vocal about his past, and said he wanted to tap into things from his youth that he hadn’t been able to use as an actor yet.

This film role obviously touched on personal issues Cory had in the past. The actor checked into a rehab facility for substance abuse a few months before his death. Waller also told Yahoo! Movies that, “He didn’t say it was a cathartic experience, but you could sense it.”

The news of Cory’s death is still so shocking. Our thoughts continue to be with his family and friends. The film does not have a release date yet but hopefully the film will be released to show off Cory’s performance.

Mayor Savage Discouraging Fans From Attending Chris Brown Show

Mike Savage Slams Chris Brown

Mayor Savage spoke to us about Chris, 24, and his upcoming performance at the Energy Rush show in Halifax on August 31. He openly and honestly said he was not impressed that Chris would be performing, due to his past issues with domestic violence.

Here’s what he told us:

Violence against women is a gregarious issue, and people are concerned because it is a big issue in Nova Scotia. We are not going to pull the plug on the show, but when people ask me my opinion I’ll tell them. It’s just my opinion as a father and as a Mayor. It’s not for me to decide, but sure, if people asked me I would encourage them not to go to the show. We need more freedom of expression. I have an obligation to say my piece. I can’t comment on his music. If you ask me, I have a pretty negative opinion of Chris Brown.

Originally, the mayor said he felt “sick” that Chris would be performing in Halifax, and the show lost a sponsor when Chris was announced as the headliner.

“It makes me kind of sick, to be honest with you, that someone like this will be performing in Halifax,” he told Canada’s Chronicle Herald. He continued:

Those of us who are in public life — I’m in public life, he’s in public life — you have to be responsible for your past actions, and I think it sends a very, very wrong message to everybody. I’m not keen on the city supporting this in any way.

As a city, [we] believe it reflects poorly on us to not only host such an artist, but to make him the headliner of this show. It says that as a city, we do not care for domestic abuse as long as you can write a catchy dance song.
