The Twilight star’s Independence Day hookup reportedly looked a lot like Marie Avgeropoulos, an eyewitness told Page Six. Taylor and Marie are co-starring in the upcoming film, Tracers, but they looked like way more than just castmates at the swanky Hudson Terrace on July 4.

“He was very affectionate with his dark-haired young lady friend,” the onlooker said. “They were kissing, dancing and hugging in their private cabana area. They stayed the majority of the night, enjoying drinks and dancing till about 2 a.m.” Sounds like a romantic, steamy night!

And on May 24, Taylor and Maika were spotted holding hands and being extra flirty at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. It had totally looked like these two were headed for a relationship, but Taylor’s reported night out with Marie certainly throws a wrench into that.

Perhaps Maika and Taylor agreed to take some time apart while he hangs out on the East Coast, and he decided to take full advantage of it!
