Emma Watson Lands New Movie

Get excited! Emma Watson is taking on a new movie franchise! Apparently the Harry Potter star has teamed up with Warner Brothers and her "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman for "The Queen of the Tearling," a film adaptation of yet another fantasy book series --- this one written by Erika Johansen. There aren't a whole lot of details regarding the series, which has yet to even be published, but we do know that the plotline is set three centuries after an environmental catastrophe, with a spiteful Red Queen holding considerable power. As for Emma's character, we can assume that the starlet will be taking on the role of the book's 19-year-old female lead who is said to be inspired by a speech that Johansen heard President Obama give back in 2007. And for fellow Game of Thrones fans out there, the fantasy trilogy has also been described as a female-driven version of the HBO hit. Interesting comparisons are going around, but we still have quite a while to wait ---the first book of the trilogy will be available in 2014, and the movie is still just in development and the director and writer have yet to even be secured. But now the more important question --- does our girl Emma EVER take a break? I mean since her days as Hermione, the 23-year-old has been keeping herself quite busy. Between attending Brown University, her role in Perks, The Bling Ring and This is the End just coming out --- how does she has any time to take on more projects?! She also has two other major roles in the pipeline including "Noah" set to hit theaters next Spring and she has also been attached to star in the Guillermo del Toro film "Beauty."

So which of Emma's upcoming projects are you most excited to see her in? Comment down below xo
