Courtland Rogers To Claim Jenelle Evans Owned Heroin Found By Police
Courtland Rogers To Make Major Claim Against Jenelle Evans
Although Jenelle and Courtland have been reportedly seeking a divorce since February – they broke up and briefly reconciled by March – the two were busted with heroin together on April 23, and have been broken up ever since. Courtland is still in jail because he hasn’t been able to pay his $80,000 bail after their arrest, while Jenelle has been out since she was able to post bail.
Months after the arrest, Courtland will finally be appearing in court. Once he’s there, a source tells RadarOnline.com he plans to call Jenelle out! The insider says:
Courtland is planning to make sure his lawyer and the judge know that the drugs in the house were not his, they belonged to Jenelle. His defense is going to be that they weren’t his drugs. He was already on probation and wasn’t going to risk anything for drugs. Jenelle is the one who brought the drugs into the house, she even had a rhinestone pipe that she was smoking out of.
It sounds like Jenelle might not get off so easy after paying her way out of jail!
Jenelle Evans Denies Possession Of Heroin Via Twitter
Despite Courtland’s defense against Jenelle, she has publicly claimed they were, in fact, not her drugs. On the night of the arrest, it was reported that cops found 12 bindles of heroin, but Jenelle took to Twitter to argue that report.
“There’s no such thing as a bindle…. Lmao u guys got it all wrong,” she tweeted on June 24.
A fan then tweeted a photo and description of a bindle to Jenelle, and she responded with a vague comment that didn’t exactly confirm or deny that Courtland’s claims will be true.
“That’s not what was in my car dumba***s lmaoooooooo,” she tweeted in response.
It sounds like it’s going to be another Courtland and Jenelle battle whenever Courtland’s court date comes around, and it will be very interesting to see whose claim will win!
