Emma Watson In ‘Teen Vogue’
Emma Watson 'Teen Vogue' Interview:
We all know her from Harry Potter, which launched the actress into instant stardom. However, these days, Emma Watson has her eyes focused on different projects. With the recent success of her new movie The Bling Ring, the leading lady spills details on her personal and professional life in August’s issue of Teen Vogue.
We’ve always admired her ability to view growing up as an organic process, but it seems that even at 23, Emma Watson still finds little appeal to pushing “sexy.” On the cover, The Perks of Being a Wallflower actress sports a natural makeup look in which we’ve seen before. Her shoulder-length hair is slicked back as she sports some simple gold jewelry and a royal blue, off-the-shoulder cardigan.
The starlet is also seen sticking to the blue theme as she wears a knee-length, tweed jacket with a long, button-down dress. She shows off her awesome figure in a blue, leather biker jacket and houdstooth pants.
A salmon lip ties the whole look together and really pops against her fair complexion. The look isn’t over-the-top, and it’s certainly not scandalous — but it’s so Emma!
Emma Watson Talks ‘Harry Potter’:
When asked about her early success in Harry Potter, the brunette beauty explains the magnitude of the franchise and the effect it will always have on her career. “I think, in a way, I was very protected during Harry Potter, because I was working all the time. I would get in the car, go to the studio, and go home… It’s past the point now. Harry Potter was so massive, I don’t know if [my other projects] would even touch it, honestly, even make a dent,” she reveals.
However, even with her immense success, the starlet still admits to getting a bit overwhelmed in the limelight.
Emma Watson Gets Nervous To Walk The Red Carpet:
“Every now and again, I feel a bit wobbly before hitting a red carpet. So it’s always nice to bring friends, especially because I love to see their reactions. It’s not normal to get out of a car and have, like, 80 people screaming at you, and so when they say, ‘This is crazy,’ it makes me feel slightly more sane,” she says.
And with a life that millions of girls her age could only dream of, what else could she possibly want? “A plan,” she explains.
“I wish so badly that I could have a plan. I’m someone who likes to be organized and know what she’s doing, and this industry just does not permit that in any shape or form. You never know when a movie is going to start, if it’s going to get financing, where it’s going to be,” says Watson.
Well Emma, plan or not you’re still doing alright for yourself! And have we mentioned you look great in the process? If you want to read more from the interview pick up the issue when it hits stands on July 2!
